We are currently building the program staff. This is a great way to help your community and pitch in to help create the show. You can help with one show or all of them. It is up to you and we appreciate any time you can contribute. All staff with be trained on equipment prior to taping. We just ask that if you commit to a position or responsibility, you are on time and are reliable.
Our meetings will be held on Wednesdays at the studio located at George Mason High School.
Teams & Responsibility:
Studio Production Team
- Studio Manager - provide in person direction to talent and production assistants
- Production Assistant (PA) - There will be 3 PAs operating cameras and assiting in setting up the set. PAs will follow the direction of the Set Director and the Studio Manager.
- Technical Director (TD) - punch the switcher between cameras
- Audio Technician - running the sound board and setting up the wireless mics on the talent
- Teleprompter Tech - run teleprompter during show
- Set Lead- manage set and props, line up with lights
- Set Assistants - Assist Set Director with props and set design
- Writer/Editor - Develop questions for each week and prepare copy for teleprompter
- Photo/Image Editor - Select images from the public to air during the "View Our Bench" segment.
- Video Editor - collect content and build package for air
- Researchers/Content contributors for the following segments:
- Panel questions
- Mailbox administration
- Sports Tips
- Health
